Broken Antique Scribe and Punch Restoration
This is an antique scribe and punch I received from my aunt, who was an antique dealer for many years. I've been using anything sharp I can find up until now. Finally, I have a dedicated scribe for my metal work. Keep an eye out for this in future videos.

1940's Bridge Tool Grinder Restoration
Переглядів 27 тис.4 роки тому
This antique tool grinder has been in my family for a few generations. It belonged to my grandfather. I believe it's from the 1940s. It was manufactured by the Bridge Tool Company out of St. Louis. The stone was worn and tapered but still turned well. I didn't have the means to safely square up the face. I love the way this project turned out and bluing parts is a new favorite hobby of mine! Th...
1950's Stanley Egg Beater Drill Restoration - Vintage Tool Restoration
Переглядів 23 тис.4 роки тому
In this vintage tool restoration video I am restoring a Vintage Stanley Egg Beater Drill. Model H1214A. It was in rough shape. The main gear was bent and the chuck springs were missing. I stuck with the original handle colors, as that defined these particular drills. I am very please with how this turned out and excited to put it back to work. If you have any questions, comment below! #PegasusP...
1950's Hot Foil Press Restoration
Переглядів 610 тис.4 роки тому
This antique foil press was sent to me by a subscriber. It evolved more into a preservation over time. The more I researched and learned about this press, the more excited I became. I have a lot of plans for this and it will push me to learn several new skills so I can utilize it to its full potential. I'm happy to be back making videos and will have several released over the next few months. I...

In the antique restoration video, I am restoring an 1890's Chatillion and Son's candy scale. I came across this at a yard sale. The owner said they had it sitting outside for 20 years or more. 1930s GASOLINE BLOW TORCH RESTORATION - With Testing!
Переглядів 146 тис.5 років тому
In this torch restoration video, I am restoring an antique Turner 206A gasoline blow torch. The Turner Brass Works produced this model over many decades, which made it challenging to identify the exact year. My best guess, based on the wooden handle and the shape the sticker left on the fuel tank, is that it is from the mid-1940's to the early 1950's. If you know more information on these, plea...

1950's Wilton "Shop King" Vise Restoration
Переглядів 407 тис.5 років тому
In this vise restoration video, I am restoring a 1950's style Wilton Shop King Vise. I picked this up in Arizona. The vise was in rough shape and missing the jaws. I made a pair of soft aluminum jaws and tried to match the paint as closely as I could to the original color. I will be using this vise in my shop. Love the size, and I was needing a vise with soft jaws. If you have any questions, le...
1930s Push Drill Restoration - Antique Tool Restoration
Переглядів 66 тис.5 років тому
In this restoration video, I am restoring a 1930's to 1940's Lakeside Push Drill, or automatic drill. I found this in an antique consignment shop for $2 and I couldn't pass it up. Although a simple piece, it presented many challenges during the restoration. If you have any questions leave a comment below and I will respond. Enjoy and thank you for watching.
ELECTROLYSIS AT HOME - SIMPLE SET UP FOR BEGINNERS
Переглядів 23 тис.5 років тому
In this video I walk you through the steps to set up electrolysis for rust removal. It really is a simple and effective method to remove rust and preserve the good metal underneath. This was my first time doing electrolysis and I am converted. It was very effective and is a far cheaper and eco-friendly method compared to some rust removal products. If you have any questions or advise leave a co...
100 year old Wiss Barber Shear Restoration
Переглядів 20 тис.5 років тому
I purchased these off a gentleman in La Mesa, NM for $1 The were his grandfather's barbers shears and were left out in a shed for decades after he passed away. As you can see in the video they were extremely dull and would not cut paper. I have little experience in sharpening scissors and did not want to ruin them. I was able to get them to cut paper, which you're not supposed to do with barber...

Antique Soldering Iron Restoration
Переглядів 31 тис.5 років тому
In this restoration video, I am restoring an antique soldering iron. I was not able to place an exact date on it, but from similar items, it appears to be from the mid to late 1800's. I found this restoration project in an antique store in southern New Mexico, along with several other future projects. I paid $5 for this soldering iron. I haven't worked with copper much and did not know where to...
1800s Monkey Wrench Restoration - Old Tool Restoration
Переглядів 19 тис.5 років тому
In this tool restoration video, I am restoring an antique monkey wrench. I purchased this at an antique consignment store in Alamogordo, NM for $4. There are no makers marks on the wrench but from the information I could find on similar wrenches it was made in the late 1800s to the early 1900s. This wrench was very rusty and in desperate need of a restoration. As I worked on it the metal reveal...
Patience of Job!
Nice restoration 👍
Yeah I've restored a few of these just to use them, taking the tube out of the tank can be a swear fest if it's stuck on there hard enough, I resort to a pipe wrench works every time (so far).. Cool thing about these is even if they look like they've been in a bomb strike most can be restored to full working order with elbow grease cotton yarn leather and some oil.. Nice Job! keep it up..
Like Video. How do get sticker made
if i buy this lasser whats the chance the laser will pop out and electricute me?
I came here to learn how to fix one of these and I guess I shouldn't be surprised that half the people in the comments are doing the same thing lol. Good work.
nice work. does the screw insert into the bottom part, how does it stay in position?
Great Job, I got one of these to refurb. Great tips on the video. God Bless
Лялька!)))
No wonder this was your last video. Just another silent restoration channel, among the sea of silent restoration channels. Really wish this trend would die, and more restoration people would talk, and teach in their videos. Plus, by hearing the person talk, us viewers can look away for a bit, if we have to get up and do something else.
You. ... you need a lathe
There is a small cotter pin holding the pump arm together. Does anyone know where I can buy them, mine has gone.
What is this worth
You Rock! Knew I should have taken shop instead of remedial reading. I have seven or eight @ 1949-1950. of various brand or manufacturers: Otto Bernz, Huffman, Dunlap, Wall, and some smaller ones with no marks/names. It seem you have the skills to repair every part were any screws, etc available? Thanks I've watched it tree times already
What did you use for the wick? Was that cotton?
Isn't the check valve seal supposed to be made of cork? Rubber doesn't mix well with gasoline unless it is designed to withstand gasoline.
What specs am i looking for in a laptop ac adapter? I have one that is 9~ amps. Is that too much?
Nice restoration of a family antique tool. Great participation by the latest of your families generation. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for this video. I have an identical model torch, although from a different brand. It's ready for restoration and I was hoping to find something to guide me. You did an outstanding job on your torch. I hope I can do half so well. I really want it for a tool in the shop. I blacksmith for a hobby and these torches are very useful.
These are the best resto vids on UA-cam. Come back!
Subscribing and hoping this channel comes back.
I hope you see this but I have a few questions as I'm in the process of making usable one of these old torches as well. First I was wondering what you replaced the lead gasket with. Second, what was the little rubber bit you punched out and where can I find a sheet of rubber like that? And last, where did you find that "wick" material that sort of looks like a fine cotton rope? Thanks!
Awesome job!!!
Just picked up the same model torch yesterday with the idea of cleaning it up and making it a user again. Thank you for the time you put into this beautiful restoration!
Does any body. Know were I can get parts for those torches - just need the leather on the pumps - I know there easy enough to make but haven't gotten around to it - I've found those torches to be very useful - I've used both of mine for at least 60 yrs or so --
I have an older hot foil stamp machine needs new cord hopefully that's all it needs. Then I go to buy older antique Hot stamps and then they're literally non-existent except for like a handful. I did not particularly like the ones they had SO waiting to find a cool older one to use with my machine. I think they started this back in the 1800s? I'm not sure I have to do more research on the antique and bossing dies.
Very nice very professional
Why don’t you guys use some lubricant when assembling anything makes the job a lot easier
Are you able to make another logo for me?!!! I can’t find one anywhere and I’d love to have another for my grandfathers grinder I restored
Mine is in worse condition and I don't have the necessary tools to do what you did. I'll just keep it as a shabby object for conversation.
This Wilton design places form and function on an equal level. I have never seen an art deco vise before.
Makes me wanna build a dispenser
That’s cool!!
Yeah it’s popular.keep popular content but better would be content that others would copy. Heck, what do I know. Best of luck!
Excellent. Exceptional problem solving skills. Thank you? Happy 2024!
YAY, now i can separate the sodium from my table salt and make a bomb!! My man came in clutch 😊😊 ...just kidding, please don't arrest me...
Hey I've got an old Turner blow torch exactly like the one you restored in an earlier video. I really want to restore it myself but I don't have the tools, the materials, or the know-how. I would really love to get it restored and I was wondering if you could restore it for me. It was one of the few gifts I received from my grandfather. I am willing to pay a fair price if you would like to discuss pricing.
Beautiful restoration.
I really liked this restoration work!
Cracking resto job, ive got one i want to resto.. hope your keeping up the vids👍
What kind of Break-Free are you using before you heat the joints? Love the video.
Are those old fuel filter wicks made of asbestos?
waste of time. only jaws fixing was improvement
Great job you have a fortunate friend
Very nice restoration. Make a good gift for a coffee drinker.
i'll have a cup of that!😊
FICOU MUINTO BONITA NOTA 2000
Great video - thanks for posting it! I am restoring a similar drill and this gave me some much-needed ideas for how to take apart (and re-assemble) the knob from the crank shaft.

Amazing restoration job you did restoring that hot foil press, particularly when you took the heating element apart without damaging the mica insulation and connected a new appliance cord to it. That, in itself, is amazing. It took a lot of hard work and patience. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work as usual.
